ENTRANCE EXAM

The entrance exam is a very basic step taken by the candidates for taking the admission in the respective institutes for which the candidates will have to take a mandatory step of appearing for the entrance exam. The official authority or body who are responsible for conducting the exam conducts the entrance exam and they are conducted to have symmetry in the admission process. The candidates, knowledge about various relative subjects can be tested on the basis, of which they can be further shortlisted and take admission in the course whose entrance exam the candidate has appeared. Exams conducted various entrance exams every year for engineering, banking, government jobs etc.
 
Following are some of the various engineering entrance exam that are conducted every year at national or state level:

1. JEE Main: JEE Main entrance exam is jointly conducted by various Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The exam is conducted for the candidates who are interested in studying engineering at undergraduate level in various premier institutes like IITs, ISM Dhanbad etc.

2. BITSAT: Birla Institute of Technology & Science conducts BITSAT entrance exam for its three campuses located in Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa. The entrance exam of BITSAT is conducted in online mode for the applicants interested in pursuing engineering at undergraduate level.

3. VITEEE: VITEEE is an engineering entrance exam conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology. The entrance exam follows an exam pattern where the candidate has to attempt total of 160 questions in the time span of 150 minutes. The total number of section present in the entrance exam is four.

4. EAMCET: EAMCET entrance exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on behalf of Andhra Pradesh state council of higher education (APSCHE) for the candidates interested in pursuing engineering, agriculture or medical at undergraduate level can appear for EAMCET entrance exam.
