COMEDK UGET 2014 Entrance Exam


 

Consortium of medical, engineering and dental college of Karnataka conducts this single common entrance exam for all those candidates who aspire to pursue engineering, dental or mental at undergraduate level. The management official council has finalized 11 May 2014 as the date for conducting the entrance exam at various exam centers of Karnataka state. It is a state level exam conducted with the purpose of granting admission to all the eligible candidates by following a transparent process where all the candidates filling the COMEDK application form will be treated at par and given the same treatment while they are appearing for the entrance exam.


Only those candidates who have successfully filled application form through online registration by meeting the set eligibility criteria can give the entrance exam. Talking, about the eligibility criteria of the exam it is a crucial aspect of the entire admission process as these norms are formed in order to bring symmetry in the exam process. As per the eligibility criteria any candidate passing the class XII exam from any recognized board or university can appear for the exam but he/she should have scored a minimum of 45% marks (applicable for general category candidates) and the SC, ST candidates must have scored a minimum of 40% marks in their qualifying exams.


The exam pattern of exam is divided into paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 will have questions from chemistry and Physics sections while paper 2 will only have questions from Maths subject. Each section will have 60 questions and there is no provision of negative marking in COMEDK UGET 2014 entrance exam. Each right answer will carry one mark. The applicants aspiring to take admissions in the colleges or institutes accepting COMEDK UGET scores must on a mandatory basis appear for the entrance exam conducted in various exam centers in the state of Karnataka.
